August 2003 - Readers Forum COMING TO TERMS "Dredging up Controversy," your lead article in July, was a great treatment of a difficult story. My concern is with a lapse in terminology. The author uses the term "dredge" for what is actually dredged material, or more precisely, dredge spoil. We were later informed that the Kick'n Gator T-shirt Warehouse and Billy's Beach Club also carry some surfing items. Those of you who know your ferns may have noticed that the first two photo captions ("Fronds," p. 88, July issue) were reversed.
