Merrill Director of Development FOR THE RECORD Your May 2003 article, "Outpatient services separated" contained an error regarding our relationship with the Hilton Head Medical Center and Clinics. We are a group of local physicians, from established practices, representing a broad spectrum of surgical specialities. While our members are on staff and provide surgical services to the Tenet-owned hospital, our multi-specialty day surgery facility is, and will remain, completely independent from either hospital or other corporate ownership. We anticipate groundbreaking at the Indigo Run Circle location later this summer and expect to be in full operation in late 2004. Thank you for your interest in our project that, we trust, will add another dimension in healthcare to our community.
